Psychotherapy for individuals
I’m Marie, an integrative psychotherapist offering thoughtful, active, and judgment-free therapy.
I am an integrative psychotherapist with trauma-informed training undertaken as part of my continuing professional development (CPD), and professional experience across the NHS, hospital settings in Germany and online therapeutic services.
Across these different clinical environments, I have supported people with complex, long-standing difficulties as well as acute periods of distress and concerns that have emerged more gradually over time.
I work in both German and English. I understand that language, culture and personal history shape how we experience ourselves, express emotion and relate to others. I bring that awareness into our work together.
My approach is integrative and individualised. Rather than applying one method to everyone, we shape the therapy around your experiences, relationships, strengths and what you most want to change. The work may be focused and shorter term, or broader and longer term, depending on your needs.
We will pay attention to what is happening in the here and now while also exploring what you have learnt through earlier experiences. Together, we can notice how familiar emotional and relational patterns once helped you cope, where they now get in your way, and what different responses could become possible.
I am empathetic, curious and honest, and I take an active part in the process. I will listen carefully, ask questions and offer reflections. This helps us understand and validate painful experiences, reconnect you with your strengths and turn insight into meaningful change.
